Royal Ascot in June is the centrepiece, with Group 1s such as the Queen Anne Stakes, St James's Palace Stakes, Prince of Wales's Stakes and the Gold Cup. The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes is run in July, and British Champions Day closes the Flat season's top-level action in October. Over jumps, Ascot hosts quality cards through the winter, including the Clarence House Chase.
Flat racing runs from spring to October, with Royal Ascot in mid-June and Champions Day in mid-October. Jumps fixtures run from November to the spring.
